Sedia Systems Showcases Iconic JumpSeat® Collection in Chicago at NeoCon
Chicago / June 2025
Sedia Systems, a pioneer in innovative fixed seating solutions, is thrilled to relaunch the groundbreaking JumpSeat Collection at NeoCon, taking place June 9-11 at THE MART, Chicago, Suite 1171. Designed for those who challenge conventions. JumpSeat is a bold solution for architects, designers and planners who see space differently, who push limits and who want to make room for more.
Revolutionizing Space with JumpSeat
The JumpSeat Collection redefines the possibilities of space design with its unique blend of form, function and flexibility. Born from a collaboration with Ziba Design, the JumpSeat emerged as a smart solution for tight auditorium spaces and has since evolved into a versatile collection suitable for various high-demand environments.
Meet the JumpSeat Collection:
- JumpSeat Standard: With its award-winning design and adaptable base options, it brings comfort and efficiency to lecture halls, auditoriums, and beyond—seamlessly supporting dynamic environments in education, healthcare and the workplace.
- The JumpSeat 90: Engineered for high-traffic, space-conscious environments, it delivers a transformative seating solution. Mounting to the floor and flush to the wall, it offers reliable seating in the tightest of spaces from narrow corridors to quiet work zones and library stacks.
- The JumpSeat Wall: Its innovative design mounts flush to the wall and folds cleanly out of the way—always ready when needed, nearly invisible when not. Ideal for healthcare settings, hallways, waiting rooms and other public areas where space is at a premium.
"Innovation begins where rigidity ends. The JumpSeat exists because we refused to accept limitations. We bent wood. We bent physics. We bent expectations. We create seating that's not just functional but a bold statement in design," said Wilson Troup, CEO of Sedia Systems.
Enhancing Acoustic Solutions with Akouo Acoustics
In addition to the JumpSeat Collection, Sedia Systems will also showcase its superior sound management solutions from its acoustics division, Akouo Acoustics. Featuring the GiosFelt, WoodLine and Livello Collections, each designed to enhance acoustic performance and aesthetic appeal in any setting.
Visitors can also explore two innovative acoustic apps that provide acoustic analysis and virtual design tools, helping clients and designers achieve optimal space functionality and aesthetics.
