Case Study: University of Bristol - Business and Engineering Faculty Building
Beam Series + Ply Chairs
Temple Quarter Enterprise Campus at the University of Bristol was designed to support forward-thinking teaching, research and collaboration. Within the new Business and Engineering Faculty Building, the circular auditorium creates a connected learning environment focused on visibility, interaction and engagement.
Fielden Clegg Bradley Studios developed a radius layout that required seating to follow the architectural form while maintaining comfort, durability and a refined aesthetic. Sedia Systems provided 300 positions of Beam Series seating with Ply Chairs and integrated Anti-panic Tablets.
Finished in Morning Ash Stain with upholstered seats and backs in Camira Rivet Tungsten, charcoal metal and integrated wire management, the seating brings warmth, comfort and functionality to the space. Anti-panic tablets and power access support laptops, devices and note-taking for lectures, presentations and collaborative learning. The result is a visually unified, technology-ready auditorium that supports the University of Bristol’s vision for an engaging, future-focused campus.
